Tradeaid.ie

Tradeaid.ie is run as a commercial concern with 80% of income (excluding any VAT payments) currently earmarked for donation to the Christian Noble Childrens Foundation ( CNCF) . The remaining 20% is intended to keep the site running. It is the intention to keep running costs to a minimum. Therefore it is hoped that running costs might be eventually reduced below 20%.

Tradeaid welcomes suggestions of other websites to include in our lists with reasons why they should be included. Long lists of links or links withouts reasons for inclusion will be treated as SPAM. Not all websites will pay commission on sales generated from Tradeaid. We have included an alternate list of online companies which do not pay us commission so that you may have a better choice.

Tradeaid is unable to vet and approve all websites to which links are provided but we have no reason to believe any company listed is anything other reputable. Should you have a problem with any goods or service provided we urge you to take the matter up with the company involved. Should you wish to make a recommendation or complaint about any site we would love to hear it. Click Comments to let us know your views. Where persistent or unreasonable problems occur with a site we will attempt to warn customers or remove the site, if made aware of the problems.

Tradeaid does not support the notion that online shopping is the only way to find an item for purchase. Traditional shops provide a quaity of service and warranty that is often difficult to match by online retailers. Should you wish to return goods this normally is a cost that the customer has to bear, unless there has been a mistake in the order delivered. However Online Shopping is often substantially cheaper, with a phenomenal range of choice, queues non-existent, and there is no customer time spent driving or paying parking fees. That said you often have to pay for delivery. Where you can get a similar price item near you in a bricks and mortar shop you should buy it there, as any problems are more easily sorted out.

Remember that the more distant the supplier is the longer you may have to wait for your goods to arrive. We would hope you find the site helpful and that you will return. Remember each sale that originates from the sites indicated generates a percentage for charity. Your support can make a difference.
